The position we never leave vacant

Season one episode one was titled, “The One Outpost Position That Must Never be Vacant.  In that episode we spotlighted what we feel like is a bedrock position at an Outpost and today our Chaplain is back with us to share what God has been doing through him at our home Outpost.

The main thing is to keep the main thing the main thing. Weekly Outpost meetings are the keystone activities of an Outpost. It’s when relationships are forged, and we begin to build around us a fellowship that will see us through. Having a spiritual lighthouse “Chaplain” will pull everything together and bring a unity that’s totally in tune with God’s word.
Every commander should be a spiritual leader, but a chaplain is THE Outpost spiritual leader.

Opening Devotion

Opening at Outpost 169 is punctuated by a short devotion by Chaplin Richard.  This gives the Outpost an opportunity to connect with Chaplin and hear from him specific and relevant spiritual truths.

Spirit Challenge

Chaplin Richard also teaches many of the ER Spirit Challenges.  OP169 feels that their ER’s benefit the most from this close intimate setting with Chaplin.
