Hi, I’m Randy Glotfelty, and this is the Royal Ranger Podcast. Thank you for listening! Read on to learn more about how this podcast can help you get the most out of Royal Rangers and learn all of the best tips and tricks from some of the greatest commanders, Rangers, and leaders throughout the country and sometimes beyond. If you’re currently a ranger, this podcast will introduce you to Gold Medal Achievers (GMA’s) all over the world. You’ll hear their stories of how Royal Ranger transformed their lives and prepared them for their future vocations.

If you’re a parent, you’ll learn how you too can plug into Rangers not just to help your own boy(s) flourish, but also to help you flourish too. Who knows, maybe you’ll become a Royal Ranger Commander like me.

If you’re currently a Commander or would like to learn how to become one, the Royal Ranger Podcast will introduce you to the lives and stories of Ranger Commanders everywhere. Together, we’ll learn how Royal Rangers not only changed their lives but also how these Commanders have been used by God to mentor boys in churches all across the country preparing them for life’s challenges.

Royal Rangers has also changed my life, and now that my son Chandler has completed his Gold Medal Achievement (GMA is Ranger lingo), I can say that serving in Royal Rangers has been and continues to be one of the greatest joys of my life. Royal Ranger has made me a better father, husband, and Christ follower, and through this podcast, I’m praying that your life will be impacted in much the same way as mine.

What to expect

The Royal Ranger Podcast is a weekly podcast that is published every Wednesday. Why Wednesday? Because this is one of the most important days in the Rangers’ week – the Wednesday night Outpost meeting. Maybe your Outpost meets on another night. Either way, my hope is that this podcast will become a timely and highly valuable resource for everyone who is involved at a local Outpost.

I’ve been involved in the leadership of Royal Rangers Outpost 169 in Lakeland, Florida for the past 15 years. I’ve had some highs, and I’ve had some lows, and I want to share all of these with you. You’ll learn from my success and probably more from my failures.

Each week, we will talk about some aspect of the Royal Rangers program, and many times, we will be joined by a Rangers, a Commander, a parent, or some expert regarding out topic or theme.
