For me the great fun in developing this skill is to truly discover just how great the Bible story is and how wide sweeping it’s influence has become.  John Lennox is always saying that atheists can be great people, why, because they were also made in God’s image.  Whether James Cameraon borrowed the Biblical Account of redemption or stole it doesn’t change the fact that the power of the Titanic movie comes from the Bible.

1. When Rose was boarding the ship she made the comment that this is now her slave ship.  The greatest ocean liner the world had ever seen and appointed with the finest accoutrements the world could offer was a slave ship?  At the end of the movie we find Rose drifting on a door of the once great ship, now drifting to its 10,000ft deep grave site, with Jack hanging on that same piece of wood to his agonizing death, Rose says, “he saved me in every way a person can be saved.”

Who else do we know that hung from a piece of wood to His agonizing death and saved us in every way a person can be saved?

3. Maleficent tells the story of unconditional love rising to save mankind.
