From GMA > Dad > Commander > GMA (The Circle Of Royal Rangers)

Wayne — With an Outpost of nearly 40 commanders I have never seen more that 4 GMA’s in our ranks.  It’s a rare thing to have a GMA amongst the team.  We often use the phrase, “lead by example,” but how many of us can lead as a GMA those who will become GMA’s?  We lead by a standard to a standard.

Randy — In this episode of The Ranger Podcast we are privileged to have with us a GMA who became a dad who became a Commander, who mentored two of his boys to their GMA’s and one of them is now a Commander at our Outpost.  Follow that?

Randy — Please welcome back to the show, Commander Todd Rich.

So, give us a quick bio of your journey to GMA.

Where you part of youth and how did the mentoring you received in Royal Rangers differ from youth and Sunday school?

How did the CODE help shape the way you lived, treated others and approached the challenges of life?

Wayne and experienced the joy of seeing our sons receive their GMA’s but what was is like for you having this shared life experience with your boys?

Commander Wayne, how does it impact an Outpost to have GMA’s as Commanders?

We are so proud of all of our GMA’s, and that’s why we have been working hard on our GMA Alumni Association.  GMA’s may not always find their way to an Outpost after graduation, but they have assembled a boat full of tools and supplies that when they pull away from their mooring and chart their own coarse they will be “Ready” for whatever the journey has for them.
